11-16-2010 new project.
Itll probably need a transmission 45RE should cost me about a grand, then I figure out how to install a steering box in place of a Rack and pinion and go full width adn SFA.

Or Ill sell it and make my money back and more.
Currently into it 1200.

Currently the trans is in Limp home mode.EDIT: misinformation sucks, This actually has a steering box, which makes it TONS easier to install a solid axle up front.

Gary W: So, I got the trans in and I have been having 3-4 shift issues, JUST verified the computer and wiring are good.
Rebuilder went throught eh valve body and thats all ok, only thing left is in the OD section of the trans, so Im about to find out if I have to remove the trans again so he can fix the screwup when he rebuilt it, or if he can remove the OD section with the trans still in the truck.

Im not happy.

Trans is ready, waiting for the Torque converter and Ill be installing it, Blowing out the lines and check valve (Possibly installing a new radiator as there was crud EVERYWHERE).

Ill post more on the Durango as I progress, and more of the Jeep as I finish it (Tcase is toast) and sell it, or decide I like it more then the Durango, which happened with the K5...

Mark: Good to hear from you Gary. Yea, a lot has changed since we last saw eachother. I live down in Sunnyvale in the South Bay now....for the past 4 years. Moved down after I got divorced. The kids are doing great.....Connor is in 3rd grade now, and Catie is in Kindergarten. Damb they grow up fast.

Hey everyone I wanted to welcome Bryan from KC Customs. They will be performing a full custom paint job on my 79 RamCharger convertable. There is a good chance that KC Customs will also be managing the full conversion of this 390ci Dodge into a 600+HP Dodge Cummings Turbo Deisel conversion! Yup, that is right, the first Ramcharger to get a Cummings Diesel conversion. KC Customs will definately be getting a full magazine spread on this project. I have to say that I really hate winter rain because it keeps you inside the house going totally crazy! However, hitting those 2 foot deep puddles of flooding roadway at 40mph and sending a 15' wave over the top of your wheeler is fricken intense!

I think it is time to go visit Hollister Hills this weekend after a good 6 day rain spree.......I just hope there will be someone out there that can pull out my beast of a Suburban ;) It will probably be some little jeep that pulls me out LOL
